  1. Contact the cocerned Govt. Organistions, Govt. of India, New Delhi

  2. There are several excellent BOOKS on this subject... none are cheap and none are online.

This is a MUCH MORE INVOLVED question than there is space in Answers to give you a decent explanation... BUY A BOOK ON LIVING ON 12 VOLTS... that will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about it.

  3. Here is a few links that should tell you what you want to know.

Here is a solar how to page that will tell you how to size one.  http://www.oynot.com/solar-info.html

Here is a how to showing pictures of an off grid system to give you an idea of the wiring and the parts needed. http://www.oynot.com/off-grid-solar.html

  4. Better buy some kits from well known electronics kit suppliers.

    1. Solar panels  silicon solar cells.  You have to buy these cells and assemble them.  Instead, buy the assembled panel and follow the instructions of the supplier to install. Orientation of the panel is important. Output of the panel is DC and most of the loads are AC. Supplier of the panel can furnish you with the necessary DC to AC converter.

    2. Wind turbine for electricity generation consists of an alternator with a permanent magnet inside which is the rotor. Wind is used to rotate this magnet. Electricity is produced when a magnet rotates and a coil is situated in the rotating field. A voltage is generated in the coil.  You can compare this with a bicycle dynamo.

In either case it is advisable to buy the kits.

  5. There's an article in one of the more recent MOTHER EARTH NEWS magazines about wind power that has some guys web site you can see.   On the site he shows how to wind a generator for a wind turbine.
