I bought it new in 02 from Costco, It is a TNG Venice retro style 50cc full size scooter. I have found the TNG website, but it seems that the parts a very expensive compared to other scooter part retailers. I am quite experienced with most things mechanical and I am in the process of troubleshooting the scooter now, and I am looking for advice on parts and troubleshooting.

  1. usually a lawn mower repair shop can help with those. They have the odd parts and stuff that work with those type machines.

  2. THOSE WERE A MIXED BREED SO TO SPEAK.. KIND OF COPIED FROM THE HONDA AND THE BRIGGS AND STRATTEN INDUSTRIAL MOTORS. THE PARTS ARE NOT THE SAME AS EITHER ONE AND AREEXPENSIVEE --IF YOU CAN GET THEM AT ALL.  YOUR BEST BET FOR TROUBLE SHOOTING IS USE THE KNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE A FIND THE PROBLEM. ITS A GAS MOTOR AND THEY ALL WORK IN THE SAME WAY. THE ONLY PROBLEM I FOR-SEE IS GETTING PARTS FOR IT ONCE YOU DO FIND THE PROBLEM.  SHOULD NOT BE ANY DIFFERENT TO LOCATE- DIAGNOSE  THE PROBLEMS THAN ANY OTHER GAS MOTOR.

  3. It is probably a chinese engine. They are a close honda copy but hard to get parts for.
