You will need to apply for immigrant status, before you can job hunt, or accept a job in Canada.

I think you apply the same way every other immigrant applies.

It's based on a point system that factors in things like:

1) Your proficiency in either English or French  - (that could be improved because the word "sun" should be replaced with "son" and use proper grammar, as long as you know how to do so and can demonstrate it you'll be fine.)

2) Your BA degrees will probably give you some good points to help you out.

3) You're not too old if you are married and still working, so you'll get points for being still within the working age.

4) Do you have family already inside Canada?

Being from Iran is something the United States would give you a harder time with than Canada.  If you were well accepted in the US, you should be fine as far as Canada.

Apply for a work visa in Canada, after 6 months of being in Canada, you will be scored on the points test I believe, if you pass that, you take a citizenship test to become a permanent resident.
