Can I invite my mother in law to visit the US even though she has been denied a visitor's visa 3 times now? If yes, what can I do from the legal standpoint? The main reason for the invitation is that my wife is having a baby in September(My wife is not yet a citizen, but I am)

  1. I believe the ruling on that is going to be no.  Your wife has to become a permanent resident or citizen and then sponsor her as a family member.

  2. she can apply for visa any time she wants there are no limits.

you can try to obtain medical records of your wife proving that she is going to have a baby. but sometimes consuls doesn't affect to that. she must prove that she has no intentions of staying here in the US. she must have all the document with her during the interview proving that she has a work to come home to or businesses to attend back home..for now you citizenship doesn't affect her because you are not the biological child.

  3. It sounds tough my friend. If your mother in law has been denied 3 times, do you know why? Is her record with US immigration clean? (i.e., has she been deported?) If so, she might need to file for forgiveness (I know it sounds arrogant but there is really a form for that) at a US Consulate or Embassy in her country of origin. Once her record is clean (takes about a year) she will be able to apply for a visitor's visa again. Then, make sure the documents she brings in her application show enough evidence that she will not stay in the US (i.e., her job, business, property, etc.). Good luck with everything and congratulations on your baby.
