I am trying to locate a photographer who took photos of my family in Dublin about 20 years ago.?

I have googled the name of O Neill photography, O Connell St Dublin, but with no results. It is any hope of locating the photos taken years ago, I wonder?

Why don't you try photography clubs in Dublin? someone may remember ot know of the shop.

The city council will have records of all the past business' too.

If he was a good photographer, the photo's should still exist.....at any least the negetives will still exist which means you can get new images printed!

Bit hard to find the photographer if you don't have a first name! I googled O neill and got dozens of different ones!!

this is the main phonebook used throughout Ireland and might help to find the business if it is still running.

I am not too sure what you could do if the business is closed down.

there used to be photographers who basically worked on the street taking photos of people as they were out walking. we have a lot of them photos at home. i would imagine they have long moved if they are still in exsisitance

Does the Irish govt require a license to operate a business?  They might have a record of the last known address.  Try a small ad in the local newspaper.  If you can go to where the business used to be, ask other business owners in the area.
