I am trying to make a so called movie out of our pictures( with music on the background) in my computer but...

the disc doesn't play in our DVd player... what could have possibly happened? please help....

maybe it save it as a file and not a digital video compatible to be read with DVD player

you need to use a dvd burning program not just put the file on the dvd.  If you are using a dvd burning program check the country codes and formatting and match with what your DVD player supports.

What program did you use? what format did you save it as? What king of cd rom dvd rom drive do you have?

Assuming you have a standard cd-rom used windows movie make and saved it as a .mov file, yes it will not work when inserted on a regular dvd player.

did the disc finalize? if it doesn't finalize it won't work

are you sure you burned it on a dvd and not a cd?

and that the disc you used was blank to begin with?
