get rid of all the things you dont like, and only keep the stuff you need. get rid of junk paper and trash.

Pile everything into the middle of the room and clean the corners, then move inwards destroying any paper you find.  We are supposed to be living in a non paper world, I find I'm slowly drowning in the stuff.  Yes, get rid of all the paper and your room will look much cleaner and tidy.

yes put everything in another room and just bring back stuff you like in your room

Get rid of all non essentials - they will only clutter your room and your life.

If I haven't used it in the past 6 months ( with exception of seasonal items), I donate it to a charity.
