I am trying to plan a vacation, I DONT KNOW WHERE TO GO. Please help!?

I am from Massachusetts and I am trying to plan a vacation for this upcoming winter or spring season. I need I deas for places to go. these three places are out of the question

Greece

Jamaica

France

Any other ideas will help.

I am only looking to spend about 2,000 a person for flight and hotel

Italy is always nice, so many great destinations to chose from there.

Spain and Morocco are nice too.

Panama for someplace tropical.

No matter what your skin color is everyone needs sunblock.

You may not like any of these places as I prefer destinations that are enmities free but with great amenities.

go to hotwire.com, they have hotels from all over for cheper prices, it could also gove you ideas on where to go.

With the cost of heat this winter you might be better off saving some of that money.  You need to remember that when on vacation you may need to rent a car, buy food, sunblock, etc.  Don't forget buying yourself souveniers, clothing or what ever else.

You'd be better off going to Wells Beach Maine for relaxation or the Cape.  Maybe Marthas Vineyard.  If you want to party it up then go somewhere where there is nightlife but stay close so it is simple driving distance and enjoy the extra money left over for those bills coming up this winter or for whatever else.

I would highly recommend Cyprus or Crete. Still warm in Oct.
