The worse part is hi is wearing size 7 diapers alredy.

Even the Pull Ups the size is not bigger than 41lbs.

So I really need some help.

If someone out there got ideias, or even a brand that's got a bigger sizes, please let me know.

  1. all i can say is dont push him it will make him not want to go even more i started my daughter on the potty when she started to walk i would show her it and she would sit on it but i didnt force her into it and when she was about 2.5 she just decided one day she didnt want to wear a diaper any more she wanted to go in the potty i mean now she is 3.5 and i still sometimes put pull-ups on at night but for the most part she is really good she has not had an accident in months so he will go when he is ready i think it also has a lot to  do with them being around kids there age or a little older that are trained so if that is possible i think that helps

  2. have you tried putting blue food coloring in your toliet kids can be amused pretty quickly it will turn green when he goes. have a male show him how it changes also you can try cherrios floating in your toliet and tell him to aim and sink them ys its lame but it has worked

  3. Really the best thing is to keep at it! Put training pants on him when you are home and take him to the br every 30 min to every hour! Eventually he will get it. I would use the diapers at night and while away from home but still keep taking him! Boys are usually harder to potty train than girls. Don't get discouraged, my oldest son was almost 3 before he was completely trained, my daughter was easy and my youngest son was easy!!

  4. he is a little bit over weight and it's kind of hard to find diapers that fits him and as you said you have hard time to potty train him. Try to use TRAINING PANTS it's like underwear but they're like diapers as well...and when it comes to potty training you just keep trying...you'll get there...good luck

  5. Wow, that must be a big kid. Maybe he should see his pediatrician for some dietary advice. 2 is still a little early and not all kids, especially boys, are ready at 2 to potty train.

  6. I just went to my son's 2 year doctor appointment and she told me to wait on the potty training.  She said to wait until HE is ready, not when I am ready.  Boys take longer and are harder to train.  She said that waiting as long as possible (a reasonable amount, not until he is 4!) and that would make potty training much easier.  It really sounds like he is just not ready yet, sorry Mom.  Stop training and give it a few more months and try again.  Also, the more pressure you put on him to go, the more likely he is to refuse.

  7. It sounds like your son just isn't ready. As for the pull ups, The Pull Ups have the biggest sizes that I have seen. There is always depends. I have used them on my daughter in a total emergany. But if the diapers don't fit, what other option do you have. right?

There is also a awesome web quiz to see if your toddler is ready for the potty. Take the quiz and see if he is ready. There are also a lot of great ideas to help with potty training.

Good luck and when all else fails use cheerios toss a few in the tolit and tell him to try to sink them.

  8. 2 might be a little young to potty train a boy. I've read that they usually take to it around 3. They have good nights (diapers) for older kids.  Try those.  He sounds like a typical boy, stubborn.   Good luck.

  9. 2 is to Young to go potty boys usually start at 3 so if he is not going u cant make him just sit him on the potty every so often and keep trying and also let him know what it is by watching u go to the bathroom he might not know what the bathroom is for
