I am trying to remove the crank form a bicycle. I have removed all of the nuts and bolts and all

I have removed all of the nuts and bolts and all that is left is the crank itself. both of the crank arms just spin inside the bike frame. no matter what I do the crank will not come loose. Is there something that i am doing wrong, or is there a special tool made just for this purpose.
