the IPL so far has been a useless waste of time and money, both for supporters and players. It also takes the sting out of one day cricket. The twenty twenty games are good once in a while, but having it this often in this format is just ridiculous. And what the h**l is with cheerleaders?????why would you bring cheerleaders into a cricket game. it's like having cheerleaders for like chess or golf. cheersquads are meant for contact sports not wussy- player slapping format of sports like the IPL.

  1. its been great so far.and i like the other games too such as tests and odis.in fact odis r the best.this wont be all the time(hopefully).but its gud to have a club game in cricket like soccer.besides the max foreigner and min youngster rule is superb.the only drawbak i agree is the cheerleaders not cuz they expose or anything jus cuz it doesnt suit cricket.cricket is high class

  2. Lalith Modi was jealous of the ICL and wanted to get all the money for himself and the BCCI (sic).  So he started IPL and is acting like he is the original thinker of this project.

  3. its getting a little boring now. but its still kinda entertaining

  4. Yeah well so are a lot of us too mate...

The only purpose of IPL is for the BCCI to show how much money they have just to throw around on useless players to the likes of Mr Over-Rated himself-M.S.Dhoni...

And they brought in the 'chicky babes' cause they thought the crowd would enjoy it(too bad most are prudes)....

  5. Every year holding so many games is too long and players are

overpaid or underpaid. So far many games have been one-sided and even though some were close, but does not

have the interest or momentum as in WC or 20WC. Even

though I watch in bits and pieces, it is hard to watch every

game due to time and other work. Cheerleaders - they have

better things to do elsewhere rather in the cricket.

If the games go as they are, I am sure it will die very soon and

no one will have any interest. Unless many changes are made

and bring die-hard interest for every game, I do not see how

    this will survive.

  6. You aren't alone in wondering that, many of us are too. As I have said before, it is just another ploy by India to 'own' cricket. If this fails, they'll think of something else.
