I am trying to teach someone to read. Can anyone tell me some online sites?

We have done starfall and it is working beautiful and I am trying to find another site like that. The town that I am in, they do not have an adult learning center that teaches someone to read. Can anyone help me find some thing online?

  2. While its not online,  Hooked on Phonics Learn to Read should work well.  That's what I use with my children and its been very effective.  There are also different levels to Hooked on Phonics as your skills progress. An adult learning to read needs to learn those same basic phonics concepts.

    Check to see if your local library has a copy.

I know that this is not something online but I suggest using a version of it for your adult learning to read.  Make sure they don't mind the title.  Teach Your child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons.  Siegfried Engelmann.  A very successful book.  Check out the reviews on amazon...I've used it myself.
