I am turning 16 and want a car what should I get ?

I am a girl so no trucks or anything I get snow in the winter so it needs to be able to handle that. I want a 2 door and I kinda want a convertible good idea???? I need 4 seats at least tho. I would like a sports car like a mustang or something but I want to get a good idea of what I can buy. I can spend 10,000-13,000. Any ideas??

you can get a Mustang convertible that is 4-5 years old for the price range you are talking about.

I know you don't want a truck, but maybe consider a jeep wrangler.

You can get a decent used one of those as well for your price range.

I dig the mustangs before the new model they have out right now. Get a 99-03 mustang. but for10-13 thousand it will probably have a good amount of miles on it.

Um Mitsubishi Evo is a cute, fast and reliable car. you can find some for cheap and some that aren't so cheap. You just have to look around. But that is not a two door. The mustang is a good car also. And if you wanted a car that doesnt waste too much gas get like a honda or something slow like that lol what about the VW beetle? =] or the mini cooper s.

depends what you really want.    a car to get you safely and economically from point A to point B or something that looks good but has more problems than you can poke a stick at.    don't aim too high at your age having a good reliable car should be your first priority and you can then start saving for something flashier.

Id STRONGLY recommend a Honda Civic, say a 2001-2005 yr.range.Best cars for the money. Try to get one under 100k miles, very reliable. Also get snow tires on the front wheels.

Mustang? If you want a vehicle good in the snow you really need a Front wheel drive vehicle. A good choice would be a convertible Chrysler Sebring.

what are you thinking you cant spend 10-13 grand and get ANY sports car.  and fyi no sports car is going to handle snow just a heads up.

and FYI im a 17 year old girl and i drive a 2004 toyota 4runner

and the girls ik that dont have either sports or 'designer' cars drive trucks like mine
