I am turning 16 soon...?

I am turning 16 in December and i am into all the hybrid cars and i really like the Toyota Prius. My dad likes it too but worries that it's not safe? From a fathers perspective is the Prius safe for a 16-year-old to drive?

Nope.................they are very unsafe and even though that are rated high in crash testing, you need to see what they look like after even a small accident.

I have seen many of these cars after accident from big to small because I also work with many insurance companies and they are not a pretty sight.....

what their thinking about is your inexperience and the cars small size... there are safer cars, and cars that are more dangerous {ex:Ferrari etc}

just make sure you have lots of practice and you will be fine!!! gas is so expensive now everybody will be driving a little car soon.
