I am uncomfortable with the dating of carbon dating,

Question

could DNA of deceased persons be used as a method to determine the

accuracy of Carbon dating? I am not familiar with the exact methods of

each, but using something with C14 along side with something with DNA

of the same time period? LW

Actually that is how many of the C14 datings  for more ercent artifacts have been verified by comparison against a real object of traceable lineage. Sure there is some error is C14 datingn but most if not all the sources of variation are known,,.. Why are you uncomfortable with it ? All techniques have inherent error and yet we can account for it and correct for it..that is why no method of acquiring  and utilizing knowledege has ever had the power of science.
