I'm 15, crossing the canada/us border, and my only form of photo id was stolen (student card & bus pass) and i only have my birth certificate. I leave in 9 days, and do not have time to get a BC id, or a passport. Will i still be able to travel with only my birth certificate, and a letter of consent for international travel from my parents?

  1. You have the right identification. For 15 and under,  all you need is a birth certificate for a land crossing.  And the letter of consent from your parents is also required.

But I don't know if they will let you in at that age unless you have an adult accompanying you or proof you are meeting an adult on the other side.

  2. No you need two forms of ID, one must be a legal photo ID.  (live near US/Canadian border)

  3. No. You need photo id..probably more than one piece also.

  4. now are you a canadian coming back to canada or an american going there?

    because that makes a difference

and you will be totally alone?

well the states is pretty dangerous especially for a kid like on the global peace index theyre WAY up there, I believe they are at 97

so your better off in Canada unless you know how to wield a knife really well
