They give you money based on income and such. It's a grant so you don't have to pay it back. The amount usually ranges from $300-$4000.00. Good Luck!!!!

fill out a fafsa form. go to fafsa.ed.gov because you do not pay a fee to fill out these forms! also, contact the financial aid office.

Depending on what state you are in, there may be some state funding available. In Michigan, we have a program that grants money to students who are taking studies in high demand areas who are eligible.  Check with your local government aid agencies and see what grant monies are there.
