I am using Nokia3110C. I am facing a problem like i have to charge the phone twice a day, otherwise it is getting switched off without charge. Please help me on.

usually, life span of battery is only 1 yr.  it means after 12mos. the effeciency decreases.  how long are you using your phone battery?

I think your battery's expanding. It can be dangerous if that's the case.

either you have to change your battery with an orogonal one or just simply change your phone...
