No, firefox 3 will upgrade your previous firefox version 2, or will not install unless it is uninstalled, you dont have to worry about anything, just run firefox 3's setup, Thats it.

if u are doing an upgrade then NO. if you're going to install it, overwrite the folder of your older firefox and you don't need uninstalling to do BUT i recommend you to uninstall the older version first to clear all of its system registry. goodluck man
