I am using skype, but want other people to be able to call me from their landline?

Can this be done? BT have cut me off and it will be weeks before I can get reconnected. How do I find my skype number? Its so expensive to call a mobile from landlines.

nope you cant get ppl to call you from landlines you can call them though

Yes, people can call you from land-line phones to your Skype account.

First, you need to purchase as SkypeIN number.

Once you have your SkypeIN area code phone number, anyone who calls your SkypeIN phone number will get connected to your Skype account.

To receive SkypeIn calls, you need to be logged into your Skype account.  Otherwise, the calls will go to your Skype Voice-Mail for later retrieval.

If you have SkypeOut credits or SkypePro combined with SkypeIN phone number, you can even have calls forwarded to any phone number you set it to forward to.  Forwarded calls are charged at normal SkypeOut rates.
