I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and will be entering Grade 9 in the 2008-2009 school year. I have discussed it with my parents and both agreed that it is a good idea because it is being offered for free. If my school doesn't offer it, how much will it cost?

thanks a million!!

  1. Um... I think it's a couple hundred dollars per shot.  And I think you need to get it like 3 times... aka expensive.

  2. Doesn't Canada have universal health care? Go to your family physician if your school doesn't offer it, It should be covered mainly by the health care. That is considered an immunization and is covered by most insurance companies.

  3. I don't really know what Alberta is doing... but here is a news article that may help. The vaccine is about $130.00 - $150.00 per dose and you would need three needles.
