  4. Yes you can. Run, pushups, situps, etc all free and no equipment needed. You will probably get better results since you are able to work out at home then having to drive to a gym.

  5. There are hundreds of options available that cost nothing and will make you fit and strong, and yes a good diet is essential.

as many of said any strain put on muscles results in growth, however there are ways to do this as not to place unneccessary injure or stress on your body.

You have to be creative in your training methods and with the right research you can find some good ideas. Here are a few to get you started.

Pressups, situps, squats, skipping, running can all be done at home, by incorporating a different level or platform i.e chair/desk/bed u can do incline pressups or dips.

chinups can be easily done, all you need is a place to grip your hands above head height.

old tires and a sledge hammer can be used to develop power, overhead smashes onto the tire, tyre flipping, drag the tyre with a rope attachment ect.

    try rossboxing.com for other ideas

good luck, train hard and eat well.

  6. There are many exercises you can do using your body wieght.

If you study Karate, there are many benefits to learning. Good Luck !!

  7. yeah sure.

pushups sit ups ect will help.

or you could pick up something heavy and do weights with that like a brick or something.

  8. Go on to google type in GUYS@BW.COM or try typing in plyometrics.

Both sites have a regimen of excercises using only your body weight and little or no equipment

  9. No mate, get down to dan murphys shoplift a six pack and a packet of chips, lie on couch for the rest of the day.

That will make you big and strong. Strong like bull. You like bull yes?

  10. are u asking these Q for haridwar person Dave Sullivan , drop the idea, he has a pistol with him ~

  11. Hey man im sorta like you. I find doing pushups and situps is a good start. Just a little bit of info to make your push ups more effective go slow down and slow up. Pherhaps go 5 seconds down and 3 seconds up. Do 12x these 3 times. With situps try and put something heavy on ure feet or maybe wedge them under something to make sure that you are using the core of your body. Also a good diet helps with this.

    hope this helps

  12. Well, not Arnold Schwarzenegger big, but it will build muscle. Push ups and crunches are some of the best exercises you can do.

  13. Why do yuo feel the need to continue to post this same sort of "c**p" repeatedly?

First, you were an "philosophy honors student", to which you have now added "first year" and you were trying to decide (for ever) between martial arts or the gym...

Now, suddenly, your a poor kid, with a poor family...

Get a job, stop whining and stop the B S!

  14. yes, just make sure to eat a lot of protein and being physically active is always a good idea anyways for your heart. you can do push ups and crunches and even do a google search for different ways to strenghten your body ..maybe even get a job and just buy some weights from Walmart or Kmart if you are really serious about getting in shape!!
