  1. In australia i would buy a vodafone sim, you can pick them up for $2 in some places you can top up with $49 dollars and get around $300 worth of calls which includes calls & sms to overseas numbers

In NZ i would buy vodafone again and just use pre paid although they dont have the same deals as in Aus but they are probably the best value

  2. Just buy an Optus prepaid sim and get top ups as you need them.

  3. Vodafone.. there is a vodafone network in both Australia and New Zealand. They offer cheaper rates with per second billing and many different value packs.

  4. telstra is undoubtedly the best network provider in Australia they cover more area than optus and vodafone, and you could probably check that on their website. http://telstra.com.au     in NZ i have no idea, hope I've been some help

  5. I have optus. All my friends have optus. But considering your visiting. i would probably go with the sim you can have in both countries and that give you the most credit with the cheapest call rates etc. Probably Vodafone. Or telstra has the greatest coverage. But optus does have the recharge $100 get $1000 worth of credit. Depends how much you use your phone. and whether you will be callin or texting home?

  6. In New Zealand, vodafone is the best because you get all the good deals.

  7. Don't get AAPT they have poor coverage. I use Voda phone and am very happy with that, full coverage everywhere. I also believe that Optus is good (this is in Australia, don't know about NZ).

  8. Vodafone because they cover NZ and Australia.
