  1. If you can hire a car,and go to Co.Kerry, and Co Clare. They are my favourite county's.There are so many wonderful things to see and do in those 2 counties.Hope you have a grand time.

  2. bus is the cheapest.

go to cork, kerry, galway kilkenny(a must),waterford, i suppose dublin and maybe donegal

    have fun

  3. visit as many counties as you can! if you're up for a lot of travelling sligo towards the west is really beautiful, dublin in the east is great for shopping and there's a big cool castle in Kilkenny in south east. it WILL pour rain but that's part of the fun...dont use taxis if you do keep an eye on the meter cus the drivers will be really friendly and chat away and rip you off at the same time (not all of them of course but most!) bus or train and use the luas in dublin have a great trip and welcome to ireland!

  4. Have a great trip!  I'd love to make that trip.  Make sure you call your credit card companies and let them know you are leaving the country, so they dont put a block on your card for thinking its fraud.  Have a safe trip!

  5. eh kerry dublin kilkenny i would suggest modes of travel dont get taxi's they rip u of

get dublin bus bus eireann or a train stick to public transport or rent a car id do that from hertz or avis

and if ur in dublin go to temple bar and grafton street

some cool pubs with live music etc

welcome to ireland and i hope ur have a great trip

  6. The bus system is good and Killarney is the best place to go.

  7. If you plan on visting different counties in Ireland you'd be best renting a car than relying on coaches, it's fairly easy to get around and Ireland is pretty well signposted.

If you're in Dublin city stick to public transport, don't even think about driving, there's just so much traffic :)

Galway (Connemara and Galway City), Kerry and Dublin are all worth a visit. Hope you have a good trip!! :)

  8. October can be a somewhat wet month here so if you are not a big fan of rain, then you might be better off visiting the towns and cities of Ireland - In particular Dublin, Cork, Galway, Belfast, Killarney and Sligo. There are good bus services linking all these cities and the train service is not too bad either.

If you are interested in seeing the countryside (and have no problems with right-hand-drive vehicles on poor roads), then I would advise that you rent a car. While buses do travel to some of the beautyspots, the service is not that great, particularly since you will be travelling in the off-season. I would particularly recommend the Dingle Peninsula in Kerry, West Cork,  Connemara and Western Mayo, the Burren in Co. Clare, Glendalough in Wicklow and the Glens of Antrim. The scenery is quite beautiful in all these places.

I hope this gives you some ideas.
