  1. Best time to visit is May to July. Which is also high season... but I don't recommend visiting during the rest of the year, the risk of bad and impredictable weather is higher. It's a relatively expensive country in any season! Book your flights early and look for last minute accommodation once you're there. I suggest you book in advance a hotel only in Dublin or Cork and look for good rates on sites like booking.com. hotel.com and expedia.com.

  2. Early September is often a good compromise as it can often be nice weather wise and most of the Summer tourists have gone.

I would definitely recommend Galway City as a great place to visit. It doesn't feel like a city and has a really nice hippy, busker vibe if that's what you're into also, if you stay in the centre you can walk everywhere! There's loads of great pubs that are traditional and Irish but without being cringey and tacky. As well as modern bars and pubs, restaurants etc. It's also a great place to rent a car and go exploring the really wild countryside in Conemara which is really beautiful and one of the few Irish speaking parts left in the country (Everyone speaks English too though don't worry). Enjoy your trip!

  3. Summer would be a very good time! Less chance of bad weather... it rains a LOT here! ;) (Although then again... this would be the high season :D) In summer the weather is generally nice. Warm but not boiling hot or anything. If you're into shopping Cork and Dublin cities are both pretty good. :D If you're more into cultural stuff then a visit to a Gaelteacht (Irish speaking area... very touristy lol) might be good. :)

  4. spring/ summer is the best bet.

you'd get the best weather during the summer.

  5. may or june ish is fantastic nice weather but not yet unbearable

  6. im irish, and i live in australia.the best times to go to ireland are july ,august.for some reasan the first two weeks in august have the nicest weather every year.the nicestest places are kilarney in kerry(which could be a busy time of the year in kilarney)and up along the west coast.beautifull and you will meet lovely people.

  7. I have to warn ya the weather is unpredictable and it rains ALOT here. But ir's never really cold. Best bet is the summer.

P.S. Killarney Co. Kerry has tourists 9 months of the year but it's also the nicest part of Ireland.
