I am visiting ireland soon.other than the usual touristy things,what else can one experience /do in a week?

  1. Newgrange and Trim castle are both worth a visit, they are in Co. Meath just north of Dublin so you could be there and back in a day. they are not very expensive to get in to see.

    The Paddywagon tours take in a lot of sights in one week long trip, it might be worth your while looking into that option


  2. Cratloe woods beautiful scenery all day walks. bring a picnic.

    Its just outside Co.Limerick.

    There is also bunratty castle in Co.Clare not too far away from limerick it is beautiful. Now if I knew what part of Ireland you wanted to travel too I could help you some more.

  3. Surfing in Lahinch, if you don't have the gear you can rent, don't know the cost tho.

    Hill walking, basically anywhere in Ireland - cost zero.

    Fishing, but you will need a permit.

    Horse riding.

    Chilling with a pint of what you fancy.

  4. Can you horseback ride? Riding horses along one of the beaches is awesome.
