  1. Snow, I'm so jealous! It's going to be cold! My husband is from Midland, Michigan and we were there in December of 2006 and October of 2007 when I was 5 months pregnant and it was freezing!!! I love it up there! Can I go with you????? Have fun and be careful...stay warm!

  2. I have lived in Grand Rapids all my life . I have never been anywhere else during the winter so I have noting to compare it to but you can expect verrrry cold weather and lots of snow. Winter this year was crazy. I actually saw lightening in a snow storm it was crazy. I go to GVSU in Allendale and we have city buses that take us from Allendale to Grand Rapids and during one storm I was stuck on the Allendale campus for at least two hours waitng for the bus (which is scheduled to come normally every 7 minutes) because they could not make it up the roads with all the snow.

  3. I was born and raised in Michigan (Lansing). You need to wear a winter coat. Bring: long sleeved shirts, jeans, warm hat, gloves, scarf, boots, sweaters/sweatshirts, warm socks, and flannel or fleece pjs. Expect: SNOW and/or ice most of the time.

  4. Snow!  I have cousins that live close to there and there is snow on the ground most of the winter.
