  1. Something doesn't add up! waiting for 8 years?

Have you lived in the U.S. for all those years?

Did you have a lawyer working on your case to get your green card?

Perhaps,YOU did not inquire with INS?!

  2. Unfortunately NO.

  3. i know someone who has been here 23 years and has done nothing wrong paid his taxes and done good yet they still want him gone

idk if this is Bush's fault or what there is no justice whatsoever in America =[

  4. no it doesnt I was here for 4 years before i got my green card and have been waiting for my citizenship for 6 more years now ugh

  5. Sorry no. I know a family who will be here for 17 years before they will be able to apply for US citizenship. All due to the back log and priority dates for Green card. Another family will be here for 14 years before they can apply. Both families came on H1 visa, and have remained current.

This is not fair when you have people demanding that illegals by pass the US immigration system and get given US citizenship. Where is the justice?

  6. Simple answer: nope.  I was here in the States for 16 years before filing N-400; only the last 5 years counted.

  7. nope sorry, it took my mom five years to get my green card and it didnt count towards my time here...
