I am wanting to connect an external hard drive to my LG LCD TV using the usb ports on the front TO PLAY MP3?

TO PLAY ALL MY MP3 MUSIC IN MY TV....I CAN PLAY MP3 WITH MEMORY STICK BUT WITH HARD DRIVE DON'T ALLOW ME..SOMEANE NOW HOW TO DO THAT?

without getting into to much technical stuff - basically a USB key and a USB Harddrive are two different things when it comes to connecting them to devices - the USB key has simple electronics built into it that basically allow it to work with any operating or file system .

while a USB based Hard drive would have to be formated and operate under a specific operating system.
