  1. Yes you can.

Go into your group members list linked on the left hand side of the home page.

Choose the member you want to make into either a moderator or an owner and click on the "edit membership" link under their name.

You then get a page where you have the options of making them a moderator or an owner of the group.

  2. Yes, you can change the ownership of your group to another member.

Go to your yahoo group.  Go to Members.  Find the member you want to be the owner.. under their name on the member's listing you will see "edit membership".  Its here you can change that person to owner.   It will ask you to verify that this is indeed what you wish to do.

  3. How do I remove myself as a group moderator/owner? How do I make somebody else the group owner?

If you’re the group owner, you must first appoint another owner before you can leave the group. This policy is enforced so that groups are not left without an owner.

To make another member the group owner:

    1. Go to the Members area of your group(from the homepage of your group - it is on the left-hand side list)

    2. Click the Edit Membership link next to the member you want to promote.

    3. Click the Change to Owner link.

    4. Confirm your change by clicking the Make Owner button.

    4. If you wish, you can leave the group at this time.

If you choose not to transition your group to another owner, you may delete the group entirely.
