ok so I'm making them for fun but i want them to be like small hot pockets but instead of like pizza stuff i want more like peanut butter and jelly to fill it and i was wondering what would happen if i made the dough and put the pb&j in it then baked it or what would happen if i made the dough put the pb&j in it then fried it and which one would be better any type of help would be appreciated.

  1. ok don't laugh but smuckers make pb and jelly pockets and they ROCK!

  2. try making the dough first then piping the filling into a small hole with the corner of a plastic bag & then put back in oven just for a quick warming. try some marshallows with that mixture before the piping... probably good

  3. I used to make that when I was a kid from left over pie dough my Dad had, the jelly or jam always melts and burns.  Maybe if you use pillsbury biscuits and flatten them you could be more successful as they cook quicker and puff up more.

  4. I think if you do either of those things you would have a big mess. The PB&J would be runny.

  5. Cook your dough first, then add the PB & J.  I definitely would not put the PB & J in the oven, though, that would be a runny nasty mess.
