I am wanting to start a preschool in my home.?

I live in Utah, and need to know what kind of education I need to be able to start my preschool. Please Help!

You need to be interested in children's welfare & education before you can start a preschool at home. You need Early childhood education to start. Please check with your local education department for further enquires.

Utah has no regulations concerning preschools -- in that the state does not have laws requiring children to attend preschool. However, the state has set forth guidelines for what preschool children should know and what preschool teachers should teach the children.

Also, you need to find a local association to be part of. Check with NAEYC to find one in your area. Also ask your licensing representatives in your local area. They will be knowledgeable about associations in your area.
