I am 5"10 and weigh 180 pounds. I don't do anything physical all day all year. I have weight stuff in my basement but it's old and I never use it. I started using it a little but stopped. I am not really that fat and I am stronger then most people who do excersise? Which don't make much sense to me. But I can't do any pull ups.(lol) and I can run really fast but I can't run for long! I mean seriously I run the mile in 10 minutes+ and I am dead. I mean I really feel like I lost a year off my life :) Like if someone were to scare me I swear i'd have a heart attack I feel dizzy etc. I am young. What should I do every day? Should I practice push ups? Use the weights? I guess it's really my stamina that sucks and as for lifting stuff like weights I am really pathetic.

  1. ok man... dont be hard on yourself. Heres what you gotta do. First you should do some cardio on an eliptical, cross trainer, or bike for 30 min straight. Also if you wanna weight train to gain strength, lift light weights( like 15-25 lbs) and do a lot of reps. That will cut you up and help you gain strenght to lift more. Also if you do, stop eating c**p like fried foods, drinking soda, high fructose, and beers. If u wanna have a beer drink a light one but not constantly. But remember to exercise at least 3- 4x a week for an 1hr and a half to start off. But start off easy but dont be lazy

  2. u need to build your strength up by doing some weight training 40 - 60 mins 4 times a week, u have to workout all your muscles once a week each

u should do some cardio to increase your stamina for 20- 25 mins 3 times a week

u should eat more protein to build and tone your body as well

    buy whey protein

    and glutamime

  3. Well the same sorta thing happened to me. for the last year or so I have been working full time as a plumber which can be physically draining, but lately my bo9ss has been too unwell to work so after not having much work at all in about 3 weeks i decided i dint want to get fat or anything and went for a run. I ran about 5 miles and this is my first run in almost a year.

My point is, when I was in P:E at school i was always at the end of the pack because I tried to run as fast as the others, when I could do just as good as them if i paced myself.

You want to do that, go at your own pace and you can run a marathon. I ran about 4ks the other day and stopped once, just for the sake of resting. After about 2 minutes I was just as ready to go as when I left. You can also do the biking but it wont get you as fit. it takes longer to get fit but I'm not sure why, I just found biking for half an hour was no where near as good as running. Also try doing a few push-ups before you go and even if you can only do 4 just do 4 until you can do 5. When you go for a run you will feel good enough to do some more pushups etc.

  4. weight room is awesome. but not for everyday. you could hurt yourself. but im female and it doesnt matter if your weak or strong or w/e just start at less weight and do more reps. its better that way anyways. you get more built.

and i love running like marathons and stuff but i cnt run fast at all!!! but even anything helps join some sports. walk around town or to school if you live close enough. a person i know lives a mile away from school and he was like really big and just walking to school and back he lost a lot of weight.  me and my friends i have them come over and we walk around all day and its really actually fun and we talk about stuff while were walking and yeah just you can do anything to get in shape just rememer to keep it up and not to quit

  5. You need an exercise that you enjoy or something that you can make money doing (like a job) so that you will be encouraged.

If you can join a team sport or get a job doing physical work I think it would help.
