I am well into puberty but why..

I'm 16 years old and I'm well into puberty

(Underarm hair, voice deepened, facial hair, muscular development)

But I only get 1 or 2 pimples a month.

And I rarely wash my face besides when I shower.

Why is that?

Another question I have is:

I have hair growing on my upper lip and under my chin, but I have no hair growing on my cheeks.

My skin is a bit rough there.. could that be the reason?

  1. Why don't you count yourself lucky dude

  2. Be glad you don't have bad acne.

  3. Its all from genes. Your parents are the blue prints of you, so(for example) if your dad and mom's-side-of-the-family uncles all have facial hair, most likely you will also. And your still growing so mabey you might grow a beard, or not. Also your skin could be rough because you dont wash your face...you should wash your face more often though cause thats gross and is also the cause of your few pimples.  Your a boy right?

  4. some people dont get that many pimples, your lucky not too. it has a lot to do with genetics. you can check with your parents. also acne has nothing to do with how many times or how well you wash your face. thats a proven fact. as for facial hair its normal. everyone gets it at different points and usually it starts in like a goatee shape in a peach fuzz form but the more you shave it the thicker it gets. and your rough skin isnt affecting anything.

  5. yeah be lucky. but im a girl so i dont want thth

  6. Some guys are plagued with bad acne and some aren't. You're lucky that you're not. The facial hair will thicken and shaving will become a requirement soon. Some guys sooner than others. Ethnicity plays a role in developing beards too. Some peoples have less facial hair than others.
