I am wondering how durable blu ray discs are compare to dvds.?

Dvds get scratched up so easily so I was wondering if it was worth the extra money or if they are just as easily scratched?

DVDs and Blu Ray's are made of the same material, and in the same way. The only diference is the blue laser that reads them and the amount of storage. They are both just as easily scratched. They both do have scratch protection, but it does not work on sideways scratches. Thats why when cleaning them, start from the center and work your way out, and use a soft cloth, the type you use for glasses or for cars work just fine. Hope this helped you!

i dnt think blu ray get scrathed easily i have owned quite a few blu ray movies and games for a year now and they havnt gt a scratch on them
