Get your GED and apply to a college. If you don't get a GED, you may be able to go to college anyways under a special status called Mature Student Status. You may be limited by which college you can attend at first, but after a year or two at the community college level (if you do well), with or without a GED or high school diploma, you can transfer to top universities. High school and/or a GED does not determine future successes. To answer your question simply, yes, as a high school drop out, you can go to college maybe even become a doctor (or even a high school teacher) if you like.
