I do 3-4 mile workout videos, or I stationary or bike ride 3-4 miles or walk lightly and jog combinations. I also lift weights for twenty minutes and do 25-50 sit ups at least 6 days a week.

  1. It sounds like you are doing a little of several things.  Are you getting 30 minutes of aerobics consistently all at once so that your heart rate is elevated for 20 or 25 miutes?  That is part of staying in shape.  And lifting weights for 20 minutes is not a lot of weight lifting, and the term "lifing weights" is open to interpretation since we don't know what you do.  Whether or not you are doing enough to stay in shape depends on intensity, your heart rate during exercise, and whether or not you keep increasing the intensity as your body gets used to the exercises.  If you keep the exact same routine all the time and you are not pushing yourself, it will be sort of like reaching a plateau.  You need to vary your workout routines and challenge your body.
