You can look at the effects of medications on students with ADD/ADHD vs. students that are not on medication with ADD/ADHD.

You can look at the type of teaching/instruction is the most effective for students with behavioral issues (direct instruction vs. thematic units vs. cooperative groups etc)

Look at how using positive reinforcement improves student behavior.

I once took the data sheets for a student, where the teachers had reported on the behavior in each class. I put all the data in a spreadsheet, looking for patterns, looking to see if the kid only acted up with certain teachers, anything.

By the time I got done parsing, all I had was another question. "What has this kid been eating for lunch?" The only pattern was that misbehavior spiked after lunch. When lunch was forty-five minutes later, an hour earlier, different teacher, didn't matter.

I would try to find a way to study nutrition and behavior.
