I am writing out a list of character backgrounds...?

Question

For my current work-in-progress. So far I have the following to be answered for each character: name, DoB, PoB, Parents, Sibling(s), Spouse(s), Children, DoD (if applicable).... what else should I include?

a lot of that stuff--i.e. date of birth, names of siblings--is meaningless. focus more on things that shape the character, i.e. mannerisms, childhood traumas, etc.

Childhood Memories, Habits/Quirks, Profession, Financial Situation, Religion, Goals/Regrets, Positive/Negative traits ...

personal events that have shaped them, secrets they have, friends, enemies, hobbies, personality traits. Hope this helps.

Their relationship to the other characters. How they'd describe themselves (write in character). Rough look at their childhood- nurtured?poor?ignored?

Events that shaped them. People they've loved/love
