When I was younger I was into a lot of downhill biking and after a few years I got kind of caught up in things and now I do not know what size frame I need for my bike since I've grown about 7" since back when I sessioned a lot.

  1. Go with the one that feels comfortable bro

  2. your frame sizes are 21.5 and 22.

  3. You are going to need a XXL. I would recommend looking at a 29" wheel bike. Turner makes a great bike in a Sasquach size.

  4. Mark,

You'll need to go to the bike shop and try some out with the salesperson there to give you advice.

    Good luck!

  5. You're about my size and I ride a 21" mountain bike or XL as some manufacturers size them. On a road bike I ride a 59 - 62 cm - depending on the reach and frame geometry. Most of this also depends on if your height is in your legs or torso. Be cautious not to get a bike too big for you - it seems like because you're tall everyone automatically thinks you should have the biggest bike on the planet. There is nothing worse than riding a bike that's too big for you.

I have found that 29'er (tire size) mountain bikes works great for tall people - check them out. There are quite a few manufactures of 29'er mountain bikes over the past few years as they are increasing in popularity. Mine is a Gary Fisher, Mt. Tam. I'm not sure if they still make that model but there are many others.
