I an looking to buy a dvd recorder with built in hard drive and freeview.?

I have already had 3 that have been faulty. Does anyone know anything specific I need to be looking for. I dont want to spend more than £200. I have seen a few on internet for sale but they have so many features that it is getting confusing.

The best on the market is the Panasonic DMR-EX77.

If you shop around, you should be able to get it for about £200..

I got mine for £206 inc delivery a few weeks ago..

I have a Sony RDR-HXD560.

This is a DVD recorder, with an 80gb hard drive and Freeview built-in.  It has been totally reliable, with an excellent picture and superb sound.  It cost me £199.

It is an old model though and has been superseded.  Check out the Sony website for the latest version.

I dont think you are buying what you think you are!!!

You can buy DVD recorders with hard drives that are Freeveiw ready.

This DOES NOT mean that you can wath freeveiw television through them.

you can only record a freeveiw program other than the one that you are watching onto the systems hard drive

and play DVD/Music CD's
