When you go to a place The is hot most of the time, you tend to get tan, well I was wondering if you go to a place that cold and it snows, do u get whitier??? I use to live in Puerto Williams in Chile and now I moved to Miami, FL and I got darker than what I was and I'm going back, am I going to get any whitier????

  1. You're not technically getting "whiter"... your skin is just shedding and the new cells that grow are your actual skin color. If you're constantly in the sun, you will stay dark, and when you go somewhere that doesn't get as much sun, your skin goes back to it's original color. You've always been white, you're just luckier than I am and can tan nicely ;)

  2. Yes, as you will be spending less time in the bright sun, you will gradually lose your tan and your skin color will be paler.  We shed old skin cells every day, and they are replaced with new ones...so the old "tanned" cells will be gone and the new ones will not have the sun exposure that caused your tan.
