I applied Canada Immigration CHC gave me 2 yr of process time and time expires next month what happen after?

process time expires given by the canadian high commission. Is that i have to understand that my application is rejected or they have extended the time. How will i come to know.

    Do you mean you were told your application would take two years, and you still havent heard back?

    Two years is an estimate of how long it takes. It could take longer-- even up to three years to process applications because there is a backlog.

    If they reject you, you will be notified in writing. Just be patient, or even contact the CHC (politely) and ask if they have any new information about your application.


  2. You should have been given a tracking number.  When they say that it is a two year process, that is an estimate.  It could take longer.  See if  you can find your tracking number, and go to the Canadian immigration site and you can check there to see the status of your application.  If you cannot find your number, contact the Canadian High Commission and ask them.  Best of luck with it.
