I applied for a morgage and they wanted a p21 form from me?

my boss got his accountant to write down what my earnings were for the year.this does not match the p21 form .i am paid cash and never recieve a pay slip and never recieve a p60.the p21 has me down for half of what i earn.what can i do about this .i am employed not self employed so who should pay this

  1. you will get enough people on here telling you about how you should not rip off the tax man, but Im afraid your mortgage is shot.

    if i said i earn 4.5million a year, ok my p60 only says 30K but i get the rest in cash - honest.....  you wouldnt believe me so why would the banks believe you. they will base your mortgage on your provable income. im afraid you can only prove you earn 1/2 what you actually get.


  2. When you cheat the government, it can come back to haunt you.  Sure, I know your employer probably proposed this arrangement but you went along with it.  Not a good idea.

    You've got an uphill battle.  Better get the payroll back on track.  Shame on the accountant for tolerating this.

  3. With that income background, the bank would be a fool to grant a Mortgage.

    Where are your W-2s to show your income ?
