I applied for a police exam and put every drug being legal or illegal on it. I was disqualified. ?

Do results go to other cities? I was prescribed codeine and anabolic for a motorcycle accident that ripped my ankle off and shattered my right leg. It is all documented. I have not even a drop of alcohol in 15 years. Are the results announced to other cities so I can not have employment. ????? Please Help...

you should have disclosed this into, before you took the exam, how is your ankle now?  can you use it walk or run on?   Good Luck!

I highly doubt it was the prescribed drugs that got you DQ'd.

It was probably this "ripped my ankle off and shattered my right leg."

They can't have someone with a potentially disabling injury out there.  City insurance wouldn't allow it.  Unless you can prove you're physically at 100%, you'll never get on.

Why did you list those drugs on an application. Always remember - What they did not see you do, never happened. there is no way to prove that you ever touched a drug if it was that long ago. Next time don't be so honest and you may get the job.

they probably don't want some guy who's got to be doped up to function. how would it look if you were in a situation where you were forced to shoot someone while on duty and on that dope. that dope could cloud your judgement and potantially cause you to make a bad call on a life threatening situation.

IF IT WASN'T ASK IN THE LIE DETECTOR TEST WHY GIVE SO MUCH DETAIL THE ONLY THING YOU CANT LIE TO IS THE DETECTOR TEST. AND YEA THEY GO TO OTHER CITIES.
