I applied, passed the exam, i even checked all of the things that they asked, like would i deliver mail in all types of weather and around vicious dogs, and i said yes. I never been convicted of anything so why did they say i was not qualified for the job?

  1. Because anyone who said they'd deliver mail around vicious dogs would have to be crazy?

I'm really not sure anyone but they can tell you the real reason.  I've been there myself>  only I was offered an on call position where you work when they need you. Is there anyone you could call?  Maybe start with the postmaster for a telephone number in personnel/ human resources?

From what I remember, they had hundreds of applicants applying for a handful of part time jobs when I applied.  And remember too, you're dealing with a bureaucratic operation, where often times, common sense isn't very common.
