  1. Visit this site

Here you will find enough information that will help you solving your question.

  2. Ok, as a generaly rule, department store credit cards are bad ideas because the interest rate is sky high.  Applying for credit cards will afffect your credit score because such an inquiry will affect it (but not that much).     There is one website that I like for information on how to build/repair credit (its not mine).   http://www.credit-cards-comparisons.com

If you get the cards and no others, do not close the accounts.  Just do not use them.    Instead, apply for a card that has the lowest interest possible and the lowest fees.  Then charge a little and pay it off in full each month, just to get your feet wet.  You will be on your way to getting good credit.   Good luck.

  3. I would suggest that if you do get approved, keep them just to show an open trade line, you can buy something small, underwear or socks, pay the balance in full, if you have no score you have to start some where. It takes about 6 months of having at least 1 open trade line to develope a score.

  4. call customer service and tell them you do not want the cards!!! and really you do not need them!!!
