I am a 15 year old and im really determined to get a job at either Cold Stone or Mc Donalds but i seem to be having some trouble.

Do to the high volume of people applying for open positions most do not email or call back candidates they are not interested in. Rarely will they look to see if they have even received a resume or application do to the high volume.

It doesn't mean you didn't get the job necessarily. It sometimes takes a week or two and in some cases a month before they call you for an interview if they are interested.

If you do not hear from either place after 3 weeks go in person and fill out a paper application. When hading it in don't just give it to an associate ask to speak to one of the managers and hand it to them and explain you are very interested in the position. This looks good on your part. Just make sure you don't go in during a rush period of time.

Sometimes if you hand in your application a manger can do an immediate interview even. So when you go in dress appropriately.
