Question:

I applied to Texas Tech wanting to go into architecture, but I have changed my mind?

I have been accepted into their school of architecture, but it would not be my first choice to go there anymore. How can I change my area of study? Architecture is a school in and of itself, so I am confused.

  1. Your best bet is to find an academic advisor in your school. He or she will definitely be able to help you.

But I'd say that since you're a student of Texas Tech, you should be able to change schools within the university. Changing your mind about what to study happens to nearly EVERY college kid... I myself went through three majors before one stuck... so it's not going to be super hard to change. You might have to apply to a school to get in, but you might not have to.

Definitely talk to an advisor! They're there to figure this stuff out with you.
