I applied to so many jobs but have not heard from anyone yet..how long should i wait to hear from them?

What the average time frame that a person should wait to hear from a potential employer?

Some jobs i applied a week ago and others 2 weeks ago..and i haven't heard from any of them..Should i just take it as a sign that they're not interested in hiring me?

yes and no. try calling them first to check on the progress of your application. Most employers will be impressed that you took the initiative to do so. Others might have decided through some convoluted logic that you're not qualified. You don't want to work for that kind of people.
